Historically, NextComputing has worked closely with AMD to foster the development of the highest performance, smallest form factor servers and workstations.
Since our inception, we've commited to AMD's processor roadmap, specifically for its high-performance throughput capabilities, including the revolutionary Direct Connect Architecture and AMD Hypertransport™ Technology.
Originally incorporating the Dual-Core AMD Opteron™ processor 940 series into our original rackmount server, we've expanded our product line and included AMD processors in 7 system offerings. Now, our NextServer Evo can accomodate the most advanced processors AMD has to offer.
In December 2005, launched the first flextop computer, the NextDimension, exclusively incorporating AMD Opteron processing cores. We have since expanded the NextDimension line to include several systems. The Pro, the Pro HD, the Evo, and the Evo HD all include low-wattage AMD Opteron options from the 940 and 1207 series, including AMD's latest offerings in the Quad-Core AMD Opteron™ processor line.
And on the rugged portable side, the Vigor Evo HD and Vigor Pro SD include AMD's most advanced dual- and quad-core processor options as well.
